Driver: Tom Wilde
Co-Driver: Anthony McLoughlin
Team: Tom Wilde
Tom Wilde is fast becoming one of the true superstars of the Australian Rally Championship, with particular note to his incredible performances considering his young age. So now he’s turning his hands to the Asia Pacific Rally Championship in his Renault Clio R3.
As one of the youngest competitors in the Australian Championship, Tom made his debut in 2006 whilst still on his P-plates. As an unknown rookie, Tom quickly made himself known as the underdog frequently beating experienced competitors in a considerably underpowered car. In 2010 Tom became the youngest ever WA Rally Champion and went on to win the inaugural 2011 Rallyschool Australian Junior Challenge (4WD).
2014 APRC update: Wilde has had two finishes and one DNF, currently holding second in 2WD and 5th in the drivers championship. Anthony McLoughlin took over co-driver duties from Bill Hayes in Australia and will remain with the team for the rest of the championship.
